Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process: assessment, planning, intervention, documentation, and evaluation.
• Develop unique education and care plans for each patient.
• Provide appropriate education and support for family members.
• Direct ancillary staff based on patient and family needs.
• Follow nursing department philosophies, policies, and procedures.
