Job summary

Hutchinson Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Telemetry (Tele) at night Shift and a 0.9 FTE schedule. The role entails delivering professional nursing care under physician supervision, mentoring staff, and maintaining patient care plans within department guidelines.

Responsibilities include education for patients and families, timely documentation, medication administration, and collaboration with the care team to ensure quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• ADN required for RN licensure.
• Current BLS/CPR from an approved provider within 30 days of hire or by end of orientation.
• Current RN licensure in Kansas or a compact state; ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC/NIHSS/AWHONN may be required per policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care under physician guidance.
• Mentor and train new staff and students.
• Demonstrate competency per unit policies and procedures.
• Evaluate patient needs and maintain a comprehensive care plan.
• Educate patients and families on care, medications, and self-care.
