Job summary

Hutchinson Regional Medical Center seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to deliver telemetry patient care during night shifts on a full-time basis. The role involves collaborating with physicians, mentoring staff, and ensuring accurate documentation within a high-quality care environment.

The RN will assess patient needs, develop care plans, administer medications, educate families, and contribute to a supportive team that upholds the hospital's mission and values.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
• Current RN licensure in the State of Kansas or a compact state.
• Current BLS/CPR card within 30 days of hire or by end of orientation.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, NIHSS, AWHONN may be required per policy.

Responsibilities

• Provides care to patients under the direction of a physician.
• Mentors, develops and trains new staff and students.
• Maintain a comprehensive care plan within scope.
• Educate patient/family on care, medications, and self-care skills.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation per policy.
• Observe patient conditions and report changes.
• Communicate effectively with the care team and patients.
