Roslindale is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Cardiology/Telemetry Unit in Med Surg. The role involves delivering patient-centered care during 36-hour night shifts, coordinating with the care team and educating patients and families.

Requires RN licensure, BLS; ACLS and PCC certifications within specified timelines. Strong communication and computer skills are essential for charting and data entry.

Qualifications

• Diploma, ASN or BSN (preferred). Ability to obtain BSN within 4 years.
• Licensed to practice professional nursing as a registered nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• BLS, ACLS and PCC certifications required within specified timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care in the Med Surg unit, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation, and education of patients.
• Communicate with health care team members, patients, and families.
• Coordinate and delegate patient care tasks to inter-professional colleagues.
• Update and manage patient records and interpret computerized data.
