Job summary

Candidates must hold an active RN license and BLS; ACLS and rhythm interpretation training within required timeframes. BSN preferred; ventilator management experience and RN-BC certification are a plus.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Basic Arrythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Ventilator Management experience preferred.
• RN-BC or similar certification preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of safe patient care using the nursing process in Telemetry Unit.
• Direct patient care within scope of practice; teach patients and families.
• Communicate changes in patient condition with physicians; monitor cardiac status.
