Job summary

Saint Clare's Health in Denville, NJ, part of Prime Healthcare, seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Telemetry Unit. You will deliver safe patient care using the nursing process, educate patients and families, and guide other nursing staff within the standards of care.

Requires current NJ RN license, BLS, ACLS within 30 days, and basic arrhythmia interpretation. Ventilator management and BSN are preferred; clinical experience in an acute care hospital is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator Management experience preferred.
• RN-BC or similar certification; preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Direct patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care.
• Communicate with the physician about changes in the patient's condition including cardiac monitoring and diagnostic results.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.
