Job summary

Saint Clare's Health in New Jersey is seeking a Registered Nurse for night shift to deliver safe patient care within Telemetry Unit. You will use the nursing process across assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation, and guide teaching for patients and families.

The role requires active RN license, BLS and ACLS, with preferred acute care and ventilator management experience. BSN is preferred, and a comprehensive benefits package accompanies the position.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator Management experience preferred.
• Medical-Surgical Nurse-Board Certified (RN-BC) or similar certification; preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice.
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel.
• Communicate with the physician about changes in the patient's condition including cardiac monitoring, diagnostic results and symptomatology.
