Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate from a board-approved nursing education program.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Engages with unit councils and quality initiatives to improve care.
• Uses nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitors patients, adjusts plans, and collaborates with the team.
• Upholds a culture of safety and ethical patient care.
• Document accurately in the EHR and maintain records.
• May administer medications and therapies per protocols.
• Float to other units as needed within the service area.
