107 The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Hospital Authority is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Telemetry 6th Floor (University City). This full-time role offers 36 hours per week with benefits eligible and a variable schedule.

The RN provides nursing care using the nursing process, directs team members, and collaborates with multidisciplinary staff to deliver age-appropriate care in line with standards. NC RN licensure and BSN preferred; ACLS/PALS may be required within 1 year.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse licensure in North Carolina.
• ACLS and BCLS certifications as required within 1 year for designated units.
• BSN preferred for advancement and scope.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient/family centered nursing care using the nursing process.
• Lead and coordinate assigned team members and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain safe and therapeutic environment and promote professional practice.
• Utilize technology and equipment to enhance patient and staff safety.
• Communicate effectively across care continuum and with the healthcare team.
• Demonstrate professional growth and accountability in practice.
• Perform and maintain competency for point-of-care testing as assigned.
• Advocate for patients across all settings and community.
• Coordinate delivery of care to improve patient outcomes.
