Job summary

Northern Nevada Medical Center, a 124-bed acute care hospital in Sparks, NV, is seeking a dynamic Registered Nurse for the Medical/Telemetry Unit on a full-time night shift. Join a team focused on patient-centered care and safe, compassionate nursing practice.

Required: NLN-approved RN program, BLS and ACLS certificates, and 1 year full-time or 3 years part-time acute care experience. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k), sign-on bonus up to $10,000, and professional development

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN approved RN program.
• Current BLS certificate.
• Current ACLS certificate.
• Must have one year full time or three years part time experience in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Involves the patient and family psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, population specific, and diversity needs in care assessment.
• Constructs and implements the plan of care using nursing knowledge and skill. Integrates direct and indirect patient care activities related to the diagnosis and co-morbidities.
• Coordinates the implementation of the interdisciplinary plan of care for assigned patients. Develops goals, treatment plans, and discharge plans that meet individual patient/family needs.
• Full-Time positions may be eligible for our $10,000.00 sign-on bonus!
