Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking an experienced Telemetry RN to join our critical care team. The role is full-time, night shift (7pm-7am) with every other weekend requirement. The ideal candidate will have CCS or magnet hospital experience, be able to read EKGs, and hold or pursue a BSN.

You will collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to monitor patients, escalate concerns, and coordinate discharge planning while maintaining documentation and patient education standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing; BSN preferred when Magnet status requires.
• Current State of Texas nursing license or compact license to practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; other certifications may be needed per unit.

Responsibilities

• Delivers professional nursing care to patients in telemetry units.
• Collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to plan care.
• Coordinates discharge/transfer planning and follow-up as needed.
• Ensures adherence to nursing standards and organizational policies.
