Job summary

Origin Travel Nurses seeks a skilled Medical Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract in Sayre, PA. The RN will provide high-quality care on a telemetry unit, float as needed, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Candidates must have at least 1 year of med-surg telemetry experience, an active RN license, BLS, Epic experience, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a medical-surgical telemetry unit.
• Current RN license in hand.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred.
• Experience with Epic charting system.
• Ability to float between units as needed.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care in a telemetry setting with ratios of 1:4-1:8.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry readings.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Provide care for patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions.
• Utilize electronic charting systems (Epic) for documentation.
• Participate in team nursing and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members.
