Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Float Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel assignment in Sayre, PA. You will float within the facility, caring for adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires at least 1 year of Med/Surg Telemetry experience, current RN license, and ACLS/BLS credentials. Night shift 3x12 hours, 19:00–07:30, for a 13-week contract with travel stipend and housing options.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical Telemetry nursing experience.
• ACLS preferred, BLS required.
• Current RN license in hand.
• Experience with patient ratios of 1:4 to 1:8.
• Frequent floating within assigned scope as needed.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatment plans as prescribed.
• Monitor vital signs, symptoms and behavior.
• Utilize telemetry equipment for cardiac monitoring.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal care.
• Educate and support patients and families.
• Document care and progress using Epic system.
