Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Licensure: Current New Hampshire State RN license.
• Certification: BLS (American Heart Association) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Base nursing actions by applying principles of purposeful, organized thinking to make clinical judgment/decisions.
• Gather data through history taking and physical assessment and interpret data to plan and implement interventions.
• Develop, evaluate and revise patient's plan of care and nursing actions.
• Document care provided and patient's progress toward outcomes.
• Direct and supervise others in delegated nursing activities.
• Teach patient and/or significant others about the plan of care.
• Prepare patients to manage care after discharge, transfer or procedures.
• Manage time and resources to deliver patient care.
• Administer medications to patients.
• Provide direct patient care.
• Lead the health care team.
• Perform job specific requirements and other duties as assigned.
