Job summary

Concord Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) 1 for an inpatient specialty area. The RN assesses, plans, implements and evaluates nursing care for a defined patient population with multi-system needs in a safe environment.

The role emphasizes collaboration with the care team and adherence to organizational standards, with supervision responsibilities as needed. New Hampshire licensure and BLS certification are required.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current New Hampshire State Registered Nurse license is required.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification or equivalent is required.
• Experience working with patients and multi-disciplinary teams preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gathers data through history and physical assessment and interprets data to plan and implement care.
• Develops, evaluates and revises patient care plans based on changing needs.
• Documents care and patient progress toward outcomes.
• Directs and supervises others performing delegated nursing activities.
• Teaches patients and family members about the plan of care.
• Prepares patients for discharge, transfer, or procedures.
• Manages time and resources to deliver care.
• Administers medications and provides direct patient care.
• Leads the health care team.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
