Qualifications

• BSN or ADN with 5 years RN telemetry experience
• Two years RN telemetry experience required
• CA RN license required
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers required
• ACLS required
• NIH Stroke Scale certificate required
• ONS Chemotherapy Immunotherapy certificate within 6 months
• PCCN/CCRN preferred

Responsibilities

• Monitor and care for patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring
• Administer medications and monitor therapeutic effects
• Develop individualized care plans for cardiac/neurological conditions
• Document care and interventions in the EHR
• Provide preceptorship and mentorship to new staff
• Serve as Relief Charge Nurse when needed
• Respond to cardiac emergencies with advanced skills
