Job summary

Sharp HealthCare in Oceanside, CA is seeking a Telemetry Registered Nurse (CN II) to deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care on the telemetry unit. You will monitor cardiac rhythms, administer medications, and support ongoing patient education and safety initiatives to achieve optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
• Associate's Degree in Nursing with five years’ RN telemetry experience in lieu of BSN.
• Two years RN experience in telemetry/intermediate care setting.
• California RN license required.
• AHA BLS required.
• ACLS certification required.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certificate required.
• Oncology/Progressive Care qualifications certificate as noted

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean working environment with infection control.
• Monitor and care for patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring.
• Perform detailed assessments and respond to acute changes in patient condition.
• Administer medications and monitor therapeutic effects.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for cardiac/neurological conditions.
• Document care in the Electronic Health Record.
