Job summary

Emerus, the leader in small-format hospitals, seeks a skilled Registered Nurse to join our patient-centered team. You will assess, plan, direct, and evaluate care in telemetry/ICU settings, ensuring safety and privacy while following physician orders.

Requirements include an active RN license, 2+ years of relevant experience, BLS and ACLS, and PA Act 33/73 clearances. BSN preferred. This on-site role offers a collaborative environment and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or nursing diploma required; BSN preferred.
• Current state RN licensure without sanctions.
• 2+ years RN experience in Telemetry/ICU or related healthcare positions.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred.
• Fluency in English; strong written and verbal communication.
• PA Act 33/Act 73 clearances completed or to be obtained before start date.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize, and provide age-specific nursing care; follow physician orders.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality of information and records.
• Adhere to infection control, isolation procedures, and aseptic techniques.
• Collect laboratory samples and perform lab testing per policies and COLA/CLIA.
• Perform admission, discharge and transfer procedures.
• Assemble equipment for diagnostics/treatments; assist with procedures.
• Comply with hospital policies and nursing standards.
