Job summary

Jupiter Medical Center in Florida is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide patient-centered care for an assigned group of patients. The RN will plan, direct, and evaluate nursing care, conduct comprehensive assessments, document accurately, and educate patients and families while following established standards of care.

The role requires FL RN licensure, BLS and ACLS, NIHSS training, and BSN preferred. This is a full-time, on-site position with opportunities to contribute to a high-quality care

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current RN licensure in the state of Florida.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers.
• ACLS certification through the American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers.
• NIHSS training can be obtained through various organizations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients with a holistic view across physical, developmental, emotional, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual and functional domains.
• Conduct initial assessments to establish baseline and develop individualized Standard of Care.
• Perform ongoing assessments and reassess as patient needs change.
• Ensure accurate documentation and efficient use of supplies; operate equipment knowledgeably.
• Act as an educator to peers, patients, and families; support service excellence and a healing environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
