• ACLS preferred.
• BSN in progress and/or willingness to acquire within three years of hire.
• Ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing patient needs, strong accountability and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of nursing practices according to up-to-date evidence-based research, nursing policies, and standards of care.
• Ongoing communication with patients, nursing colleagues and health care team regarding patient status and plans.
• Medication administration with bar-scanning and documentation technologies to ensure safe delivery of medications.
• Point-of-Care electronic documentation of assessments, plan-of-care, interventions and evaluations.
• Patient and family education to optimize health, wellness and disease management.
• Multidisciplinary discharging of patients for safe transition and continuity of care.
