Job summary

Baptist Health System - San Antonio TX in Brownsville, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Telemetry for ongoing, full-time day shifts. You will provide direct clinical care and supervise staff to ensure high quality patient outcomes.

Ideal candidates are graduates of an accredited nursing program, licensed as an RN, with BLS and ACLS/PALS/NRP as applicable; acute care experience preferred. This role may include a sign-on bonus and opportunities to advance safety and patient care excellence.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Bachelor's or Master's in Nursing preferred.
• Current RN license to practice in state.
• AHA BLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP as applicable.
• Recent acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, safe nursing care to assigned patients.
• Coordinate and integrate patient care using the nursing process.
• Supervise staff and delegate appropriate tasks.
• Adhere to safety, risk management, QA, and infection control standards.
• Administer medications per hospital policy and manage emergencies as needed.
• Perform HICS responsibilities during emergencies and know hospital emergency codes.
