Job summary

Advocate Trinity Hospital seeks an RN for a full-time Telemetry unit position. The role involves three 12-hour day shifts per week, with mandatory every other weekend and every other holiday.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where care is provided.
• Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care and apply evidence-based practices.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care with patients and families.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, mobilizes resources, and collaborates with the care team.
• Upholds and promotes a culture of safety and quality care.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation and collaborates across departments.
• May administer medications, treatments, and therapies per protocols and procedures.
• Demonstrates effective communication and teamwork, with appropriate delegation as needed.
• Pursues ongoing professional development and maintains required certifications.
