Job summary

Trinityhealth is seeking a dedicated RN for a full-time 12 hour night shift in our facility. The role emphasizes safe, culturally competent care for acute medical and surgical patients, with oversight of LPNs and assistants.

You will coordinate with physicians, families, and the care team to plan and implement care plans and ensure safe medication administration. Responsibilities include initial assessments, developing and updating care plans, and documenting discharge instructions.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required and current CPR certification.
• Experience with acute medical/surgical patients preferred.
• Ability to manage telemetry and cardiac monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial patient assessment and admission within defined timelines.
• Collaborate with physicians, families, and care teams to plan and implement care.
• Document discharge instructions and coordinate care transitions.
• Ensure medication safety and adherence to the 5 Rights of medication administration.
