Job summary

Tenet Healthcare in Indio, CA, seeks an RN for day shifts to provide direct clinical patient care per shift, assess and plan care, and supervise staff. The role supports high-quality, safe nursing care and requires strong communication and advocacy for the profession.

Sign-on bonus up to $15,000 is available based on experience; schedule is 6 shifts per two weeks, with some weekends required and hours 07:00–19:30.

Qualifications

• Graduated from state approved school of nursing or accredited program.
• Currently licensed or registered as required by law in the state of practice.
• CPR and ACLS certifications are required.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical nursing care to assigned patients per shift.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care at unit level.
• Supervise staff to whom care is delegated and ensure safe quality care.

Hours : 0700-1930

Schedule: 6 shifts per two week pay period. Some weekends required.

This role provides direct clinical patient care. The role will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis, and unit level. The role is responsible for supervision of staff to which appropriate care is delegated. The role is accountable to support CNO to ensure high quality, safe and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care.

Has effective interpersonal and communication skills and ability to serve as role model and advocate for the professional discipline of nursing.

Education

• Required: Graduated from state approved school of nursing or an accredited school
• Preferred: Academic degree in nursing (bachelor's or master's degree).

Certifications Required

• Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice profession as required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy.
• CPR, ACLS
