Qualifications

• Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 120 Days.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates ability to assess/interpret age-specific data.
• Encourages involvement of patient/family/significant other in decision making related to plan of care: identifies patient/caregiver teaching needs, patient safety issues, and pain management.
• Performs priority procedures for the assigned patients or areas safely, within scope of practice and policy.
• Performs all procedures for the assigned patients or areas efficiently and effectively.
• Acts as a resource for all procedures for the assigned patients or areas.
• Identifies unsafe care practices and initiates corrective actions in a timely manner.
