Job summary

Las Palmas Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in alignment with state and specialty standards. You will collaborate with physicians and the care team to provide personalized care using established nursing models.

You will assess, monitor, and document patient status, administer medications, educate patients and families, and advocate for optimal outcomes in a dynamic hospital setting.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required.
• Ability to deliver patient-centered care in accordance with state standards and department guidelines.
• Strong communication and advocacy for patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient's condition at admission and during shifts, reporting changes promptly.
• Perform procedures, monitoring, and care as ordered, with complete documentation in the medical record.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor response, and address adverse reactions.
• Provide prompt, compassionate care and respond to patient requests and needs.
• Educate patients and families about condition, plan of care, medications, and follow-up steps, translating medical terms as needed.
