Job summary

Qualifications

• IV therapy competency must be demonstrated.
• Competent in medication administration prior to giving meds.
• Basic computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Accountable to unit Manager and/or Director.
• Adhere to nursing standards of practice.
• Annually demonstrate competence in critical behaviors.
• Promote teamwork and maintain positive working relationships.
• IV competency in IV therapy.
• Demonstrate competency in medication administration.
• Plan, direct, implement and evaluate patient care as assigned by RN.
• Participate in Performance Improvement activities.
• Demonstrate IRAISE values in professional interactions.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Manager/Director/Clinical Lead RN.
