Job summary

Deborah in New Jersey is seeking an experienced registered nurse to provide and direct primary nursing care for patients with cardiovascular, pulmonary, and vascular health deficits. You will lead unit activities, mentor staff, and coordinate care for unstable or complex patients on a 7 pm – 7 am shift with a 72 hours per pay period schedule.

The role requires an accredited nursing program graduate with NJ RN license and BLS, plus 1–3 years of related experience; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program (diploma/ADN/BSN). Non-BSNs must complete a BSN within 5 years of hire.
• NJ State Nursing License; BLS certification.
• 1-3 years nursing experience preferred; Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation, IV Therapy Certification, Hemodynamics, Mock Code Workshop within 90 days of hire or promotion.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide and direct primary nursing care for patients with cardiovascular/pulmonary/vascular deficits.
• Direct and coordinate care for unstable or complex patients; supervise unit operations and mentor staff.
• Lead unit activities as Charge Nurse, participate in committees, and conduct orientation/education; optimize resource use for patient care.
