Job summary

Frye Regional Medical Center in North Carolina is seeking an experienced RN for the Telemetry unit. This full-time night shift role supports a 24-bed unit with 4:1 patient ratio and self-scheduling, delivering cardiac and telemetry care.

You will perform thorough patient assessments, document medical records, and participate in interdisciplinary care planning. Active NC RN license, BLS, ACLS/PALS within six months, and telemetry experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina RN license (single-state) or compact.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS within six months of hire.
• Telemetry or Cardiac care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and identify care needs.
• Initiate and implement appropriate nursing interventions.
• Deliver patient care appropriate to condition and age.
• Document medical necessity and updates in the medical record.
• Develop and revise Interdisciplinary Care Plans for each patient.
• Perform timely QI assessments and ensure quality of care.
