Job summary

Highmark Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 4 North Telemetry Unit at St. Vincent Hospital in Erie, PA.

You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients requiring cardiac and medical telemetry, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care. This full‑time role requires PA RN licensure or multi‑state licensure via the eNLC, CPR certification, and preferred specialty certification.

Qualifications

• Current PA RN licensure or multi-state licensure via eNLC.
• Preferred certification in area of specialty.
• CPR certification required.
• Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
• Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate.
• Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Assess human responses and plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
• Provide leadership in a professional practice setting.
• Assign or delegate tasks based on patient needs and staff skill levels.
• Provide feedback regarding clinical practice and role performance.
• Participate on interdisciplinary teams to evaluate clinical care or health services.
• Promote patient safety initiatives and participate in quality initiatives.
• Utilize the nursing process to implement a patient plan of care.
• Analyze health status and determine patient care needs.
• Document changes in patient condition and notify appropriate personnel.
