Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks a Travel RN - Telemetry to deliver patient care in telemetry units across healthcare facilities. Current RN license in the practicing state is required; one year telemetry experience preferred; CPR and health certificate may be required.

This role offers travel assignments with competitive pay, weekly paychecks, and benefits including health, dental, vision, life, and a 401(k). Travel nurses must meet all regulatory requirements and be at least 18 years old.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license for the state in which the nurse practices.
• One year experience in Telemetry preferred.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care for telemetry patients with clinical judgment and accountability.
• Maintain nursing standards and ensure safe coordination of care.
• Act under supervision as required and support care team in patient management.

As a professional practitioner, the RN - Telemetry assumesthe responsibility and accountability for delivery of patient care of telemetrypatients. The RN – Telemetrydemonstrates the ability to make clinical judgments in an effective andefficient manner, with supervision. TheRN - Telemetry exhibits critical thinking and performance ability in thecoordination of patient care and consistently performs according to nursingstandards while remaining accountable for providing patient care and assistingothers in the management of patient care.
