Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks an RN for Medical-Surgical/Telemetry on a travel assignment in Knoxville, TN. You will monitor patients, deliver comprehensive nursing care, and coordinate with the care team to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• One year of Medical‑Surgical with Telemetry experience preferred.
• CPR certification if applicable.
• TB questionnaire or chest X-ray if applicable.
• Health certificate current per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet federal, state, and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

The Medical-Surgical/Telemetry RN assumes the responsibilityand accountability for delivery of patient care of medical-surgical patientswith a focus on continuous cardiac monitoring and medical conditions. The Medical-Surgical/Telemetry RNdemonstrates the ability to make clinical judgments in an effective andefficient manner, with supervision.

The Medical-Surgical/Telemetry RN exhibits critical thinkingand performance ability in the coordination of patient care and consistentlyperforms according to nursing standards while remaining accountable forproviding patient care and assisting others in the management of patientcare.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse license for the state in which thenurse practices

• One year experience in Medical Surgical with Telemetrypreferred

• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice

• Current CPR if applicable

• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)

• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
