Job summary

Community Memorial Healthcare in Ventura, CA, is seeking a dedicated registered nurse to provide general nursing care in a hospital setting. You will effectively plan and communicate patient and family education, document care, and participate in unit-based educational activities.

Responsibilities include cross-training in PCU as needed, explaining procedures to patients, and ensuring timely, accurate documentation in line with hospital policy.

Qualifications

• Must hold California RN license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Six (6) months of recent full-time acute care experience in an acute care hospital or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provides general nursing care to patients in hospital by performing the following duties; plan and communicate patient and family education.
• Cross train in PCU per department needs.
• Explain procedures and treatments to patient to gain cooperation, understanding, and comprehension.
