Job summary

Texas Health Resources, Inc. is seeking a Patient Care Tech (PCT) Telemetry for full-time night shifts at Rockwall. Work 7P–7A, 36 hours weekly across three 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends and holidays. Requires H.S.

diploma, PCT training, EMT or equivalent, and BCLS/CPI compliance. Prior PCT (acute care) experience preferred. The role emphasizes teamwork, patient safety, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced telemetry unit.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of PCT experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• PCT Training Program TX CNA/NHA/NAHP/NCCT or THR approved program required upon hire.
• EMT training or equivalent required upon hire.
• Nursing student who has completed Fundamentals or foreign nurse degree may qualify.
• BCLS prior to independent patient care and maintained quarterly.
• CPI training maintained annually (90 days) required.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care under nursing staff direction.
• Assist with activities of daily living and patient comfort.
• Transfer or transport patients as needed.
• Enter orders into computer or manual systems and document accurately.
• Collaborate with nurses to tailor care to patient needs and population.
• Maintain a clean, safe patient environment and anticipate needs.
