Texas Health Resources in Dallas is seeking a Patient Care Tech (PCT) for Medical-Surgical, full-time days. Work hours are 7:00am-7:00pm, three 12-hour shifts per week at Texas Health Dallas.

You will provide basic patient care under nursing supervision, assist with activities of daily living, and ensure patient safety. Training at the Arlington corporate office during the first week of hire is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• CNA or PCT training program through NHA/NAHP/NCCT or THR-approved program required on hire.
• BCLS (Basic Life Support) required before independent patient care and maintained quarterly.
• CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 90 days after hire.

Responsabilités

• Provide basic patient care under nursing supervision.
• Assist with feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, and changing linens.
• Assist in patient transfer or transport.
• Enter orders into computer or manual systems as applicable.
• Document accurately and appropriately, and report significant findings to nurse.
• Adapt care to reflect patient population and cultural needs.
