The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking a Patient Care Assistant I to support patient comfort and safety under the guidance of a Registered Nurse. The role emphasizes collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare teams, with care delivered in a culturally sensitive, age-appropriate manner per Ohio Board of Nursing guidelines.

Responsibilities include RN-delegated clinical tasks, maintaining patient confidentiality, orienting patients and families, and ensuring unit safety.

Formación

• High School Diploma required.
• AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers Required.
• 0–1 year of experience required.

Responsabilidades

• Clinical: Perform clinical tasks assigned by the RN, adhering to Ohio Board of Nursing delegation guidelines.
• Leadership & Accountability: Demonstrate key behavioral competencies such as effective communication, adaptability, teamwork, and personal accountability.
• Environment and Safety: Ensure patient and unit safety.
• Comfort: Provide patient comfort and hygiene, documenting according to policy.
• Communication: Orient patients and families to the hospital environment and facilitate communication throughout the hospitalization process
