Job summary

St. Joseph’s Health is seeking an Associate Patient Care Associate for the 3:00PM-11:30PM shift to assist in daily living activities, provide basic care to acutely ill patients, and help maintain a safe, clean environment.

The role includes performing EKGs and venipuncture as directed by the Registered Nurse, requiring appropriate certifications such as BLS, and enrollment in an approved nursing program or equivalent credentials. This is an on-site position at St.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications to be provided by American Heart Association.
• PCA/PCT diploma or CNA certification or equivalent nursing program coursework.
• Experience in healthcare setting preferred within last 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living.
• Provide basic care to acutely ill patients.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment.
• Perform EKGs and Venipuncture as directed by RN.
