Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification required on hire and maintained.
• 1 year of patient care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Keep patient rooms tidy and sanitized.
• Assist patients with daily activities (hygiene, grooming, restroom use).
• Monitor vital signs and report patient condition to nurses.
• Assist nursing staff with basic treatments.
• Ensure supplies and linens are stocked in patient rooms.
• Assist patients with specific needs or issues.
• Provide emotional support to patients and families.
• Place patient on cardiac monitor as needed.
• Empty drains, ostomies, and foley bags.
• Perform blood sugar checks.
