Job summary
St. Joseph Hospital in Bethpage, part of Catholic Health, is hiring a Nursing Technician. You will assist in patient care under RN/LPn supervision, set up telemetry and monitor cardiac rhythms, and document in the medical record.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must have completed a CNA training program or be a nursing student with clinical rotation or relevant nursing assistant experience.
- Alternate experience: Advanced Medical Technician program or telemetry technician experience.
- BLS from American Heart Association required.
- Must be computer-literate and able to read/write English.
Responsibilities
- Assist in patient care under RN or LPN supervision.
- Set up and operate telemetry and ECG equipment.
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and telemetry tracings for assigned patients.
- Ensure alarms are properly set and functioning.
- Document accurately in the medical record and other forms.
- Perform treatments and procedures per hospital policy.
