Job summary

Baptist Health seeks a Registered Nurse for the 4th Floor Telemetry. This full-time role (7a–7p) offers a $6,000 sign-on bonus for external candidates and focuses on care from admission to discharge.

The RN will document care and outcomes, follow professional standards, and apply evidence-based practice while prioritizing patient needs. Requires ADN, KY RN license, ACLS and BLS within timeframes; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• ADN degree from an accredited institution.
• Current unrestricted Kentucky RN license.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Crisis Prevention certification within 6 months of hire.
• BSN degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care for patients from admission to discharge.
• Document care, outcomes, and evaluations; follow professional standards.

Registered Nurse - 4th Floor Telemetry

Pay: $6,000 Sign-On Bonus for External Candidates.

Contract: Full-Time 7a - 7p.

The Registered Nurse has the responsibility and accountability for direct comprehensive nursing care for the patient from admission to discharge. Reviews and documents care provided, outcomes of care, and evaluations of care. Follows the professional standards of care. Applies evidence, professional standards, and best practice to bedside caregiving through critical thinking, experiential evidence, and evidence-based practices. Demonstrates ability to prioritize care based on changing assessment and needs of patients.

Requirements

• Associate of Science in Nursing (ADN) degree from an accredited institution.
• Current unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Kentucky required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of hire.
• Must obtain Crisis Prevention within 6 months of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• Recent experience in specialty preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited institution.
