Responsibilities

• Monitors patient cardiac rhythms continuously and notifies nursing/clinicians of rhythm changes.
• Initiates and discontinues monitoring equipment on admission, transfer, or discharge.
• Performs configuration of monitoring equipment as necessary.
• Performs clerical duties related to admission, discharge, and documentation of patient information.
