Qualifications

• Telemetry/EKG course completed during orientation.
• 0-2 years of clerical and/or clinical experience in a medical setting.

Responsibilities

• Observe and interpret telemetry monitors, recording rhythm strips at intervals.
• Identify rhythm changes and promptly notify the nurse or licensed staff.
• Troubleshoot monitoring equipment and escalate unresolved issues as directed.
• Maintain proper lead placement and equipment configuration for patients.
• Demonstrate reliable attendance and comply with all policies.
