Job summary

Advocate Health Floyd Medical Center in Rome, GA is seeking a Monitor Technologist to provide continuous telemetry monitoring for adult and pediatric patients, ensuring accurate documentation and timely communication of rhythm changes.

The role supports quality improvement initiatives and delivers age-appropriate care while promoting efficient use of resources during a full-time night shift (7p–7a) at 36 hours per week.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Complete dysrhythmia course during first week and pass test.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain continuous telemetry monitoring with proper documentation.
• Ensure monitoring equipment is functioning correctly.
• Communicate dysrhythmias or rhythm changes promptly.
• Maintain knowledge of dysrhythmia monitoring and skills.
• Participate in quality improvement projects.
• Provide age/developmentally appropriate care per guidelines.
• Promote efficient use of fiscal resources.
