Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital is seeking a Monitor Technician to provide continuous ECG monitoring on a full-time basis. The role involves 3 twelve-hour day shifts per week (7 am–7 pm) and alternating weekends, supporting accurate rhythm interpretation and timely troubleshooting of telemetry issues.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, with 1 year of monitor technician experience preferred; CCMTT or CRAT certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year of monitor technician experience preferred.
• CCMTT or CRAT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous ECG monitoring and interpret cardiac rhythms and dysrhythmias.
• Assess EKG strips and interpret P-R intervals, QRS widths, and ST deviations.
• Maintain inventories, supplies, hardware and telemetry transmitters and report malfunctions promptly.
