Job summary

The University of Toledo is seeking a Monitor Technician for its Telemetry department. This role monitors central station displays across multiple patient channels, identifies rhythm abnormalities, and documents findings.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: high school diploma or equivalent with cardiac rhythm training and health care licensure requirements.
• Experience in EKG performance and rhythm identification preferred.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours and pass required tests.

Responsibilities

• Observe monitors in the central monitoring station including listed channels and MICU reporting abnormalities.
• Obtain, route, document, and define rhythm strips accurately; perform ECG tests as assigned.
