Job summary

WellSpan Health is seeking a Part Time Inpatient Central Monitoring Services technician in York, PA to monitor cardiac rhythms and vital signs using telemetry software. Schedule includes evenings/nights with every 3rd weekend and one major/minor holiday per year, with on-site orientation on day shift for six weeks.

Responsibilities include alarm response, accurate documentation in the EHR, and collaboration with care teams. Requires a HS diploma, <1 year experience, and BLS; Rhythm Analysis Technician is preferred. Eligible for shift differential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Less than 1 year relevant experience required.

Responsibilities

• Monitors assigned patients for changes to baseline cardiac rhythm, oxygenation, or other vital signs.
• Responds to alarms promptly and communicates changes to direct care staff.
• Documents interpretation of cardiac rhythms and events in the EHR with accuracy.
• Maintains professional communication in verbal and written form.
• Uses Epic, Teams, and cardiac monitoring software to manage telemetry data and patient information.
