Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Continuously observe patient heartbeat patterns on telemetry
• Note heartbeat irregularities in the telemetry rhythm
• Ensure heart monitors are functioning correctly
• Report concerns to the RN in charge of the patient/charge nurse
• Troubleshoot monitor problems and seek solutions as needed
