Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent is required.
• EKG/Monitor Tech completion or equivalent surveillance program/course required upon hire.
• Experience with telemetry monitoring is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Observe, recognize, interpret, evaluate, and document EKG tracings on telemetry-monitored patients.
• Promptly notify appropriate personnel of dysrhythmias.
• Operate and utilize monitoring system to full capacity.
• Ensure proper and safe functioning of telemetry equipment.
