Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• All certifications are required upon hire.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) or ARC-BLS equivalents required.
• Experience as monitor technician in acute care preferred; training acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Observe telemetry monitors and promptly report rhythm changes.
• Record telemetry strips and ensure 12‑hour prints are distributed per policy.
• Interpret rhythms, identify age-specific differences, and maintain logs.
• Provide excellent customer service and protect patient dignity and confidentiality.
• Assist with clerical tasks and prepare patient charts as needed.
• Coordinate with nursing staff to ensure timely care and safety.
