Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires high school education or GED.
• Preferred associate/technical degree or related experience.
• One year of relevant experience preferred.
• Cardiac rhythm recognition coursework preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitors electrocardiogram (EKG) continuously and reports significant changes to physician.
• Performs a variety of clerical duties including routing patient reports and performing EKGs and holter monitor replacements.
• Maintains cardiac monitors and related equipment and checks supplies weekly.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
